FILMOGRAPHY:

Robin Hood (2006-??)
Role: Allan a Dale
Summary: In Joe's most well-known role, he plays Allan a Dale, a member of Robin Hood's gang. He is cheeky and thinks he can talk his way out of any situation. In season one, Allan gives the outlaws a spark of life and lightheartedness, but a deeper, darker side of the character is seen as well, particularly in episode 7, which introduces Allan's brother Tom. In series 2, Joe gets a chance to flex his acting muscles further as Allan takes on a new role in Nottingham.
Joe speaks on filming series 1:
When asked about his favorite scene in series 1, Joe wrote, "The scene where we escape on horseback at the end of episode 1 was great fun to film" (from a response to Eli of RH2006).
In 2006 BBC Breakfast did a segment on Robin Hood which included a brief interview with Joe and Sam Troughton, who plays Much. (This is the only known interview with Joe and was included as part of 2 streaming Robin Hood news videos available from the BBC website):
Gemma Jones (of BBC Breakfast): "The outlaws have managed to bond after six months of filming together in Eastern Europe."
Sam: "We do get on, everybody says this, but we do. I mean, we're not gonna get tattoos or anything, but, you know..."
Joe: *laughs* "No, it has been really good though; you kinda expect to row with people over six months or whatever, but there hasn't really been any of that, has there?"
